The umbrella RiverWood Ensemble Filmmakers Association is registered as a Society at the Registrar of Societies in Kenya and has a national representation with its 265 registered producers as members dispersed across the country.

This body has an elected Committee that consults with the government in matters to accelerate the growth of a vibrant film and television industry and a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the government agency, the Kenya Film Classification Board.

Riverwood has worked to improve production standards, welfare of film producers and crew while seeking ways to attract investors in to the film sector. We know Kenya is the leading film making hub in the African region, Riverwood is showing the world what we know.
