This body has an elected Committee that consults with the government in matters to accelerate the growth of a vibrant film and television industry and a Memorandum of Understanding signed with the government agency, the Kenya Film Classification Board.

The secretary general of the Ensemble, Mr. Mwaniki Mageria is a veteran of the film industry with over five years experience in production and distribution of audio visual works. Mwaniki has been instrumental in creation of networks between producers and government bodies, championing the welfare of producers and finding ways of taking Kenyan film beyond its borders to international markets.
The film industry has massive potential to uplift the economy, change lives and influence the youth. Mr. Mageria believes these tenets and is leading the charge in awakening a sleeping giant.

As the Treasurer of the ensemble, he is charged with the task of aligning the association’s finances with the expected outcomes and duties. He is also a marketer by profession with a keen interest in digital marketing platforms as a vehicle for the growth of the film industry. Kahindi brings to the ensemble unique methods of marketing local films to place them in the world class pedestal.
